I was in the Co-op the other day and noticed a good value choccie offer - 9 Kit Kat orange (2 finger) bars for a pound.

What are they?: The orange Kit Kats are simply "two crispy wafer fingers covered with orange flavoured milk chocolate".

Packaging: The 9 bars are contained within bright red foil packaging with an enticing picture of oranges to represent the orange flavoured chocolate. The 2 fingered bars themselves are contained within an orange paper wrap with the Kit Kat logo, oranges and the statement "107 calories' prominent. Inside the paper wrap, the chocolate is sealed by silver foil. The nutritional information is provided on the external multipack packaging and on the individual bars.

Appearance and smell: The fingers have a generous coating of chocolate around the wafer biscuit, with the Kit Kat logo embossed on each finger. As soon as you unwrap the foil, there is a fantastic aromatic orange chocolate flavour that is very tempting.

Taste: The taste is like a Terrys chocolate orange but better as you get the wafer included. The orange chocolate and wafer is a fantastic combination that is very moreish and better than the original Kit Kat (in my opinion).

Value for money: For a multipack costing a pound, each 2 finger bar costs just over 11p - this is great value for money when considering a standard Kit Kat (4 fingers) costs approximately 50p.

Healthy?: Each 2 finger bar contains 107 calories - 5% of an adults GDA, so pretty good considering this is chocolate!.

Overall: The orange Kit Kats smell great, taste great and are better than the original flavour - which are also good in their own right. This is an improvement on a classic.
