Kit Kat Orange
Kit Kat's are lovely chocolate biscuits. They consist of two or four fingers of crispy wafer with layers of crème covered in an amazing layer of Nestle chocolate. The fingers are welded together by the layer of chocolate but you can snap them apart and eat each finger separately if you wish or just bite into the whole thing. I much prefer to break each finger apart and nibble around the edge of the chocolate, yummy.
Kit Kat originals have been around sine 1935 when they were first created by Rowntree's of York, England. The Kit Kat Orange was the first flavour variant. It was introduced in the UK in 1996. I think this was a good flavour to start with as orange and chocolate always go well together as can be seen from the great success of Terry's chocolate orange. This is now a permanent flavour in the UK which is great as I love it. It is sold in the two finger variety.
A Kit Kat orange is basically the same as a regular Kit Kat except for the fact that the chocolate layer covering the biscuit is a lovely orange flavour. In my opinion this has a lovely orangey flavour to it, I would liken it to a Terry's chocoalte orange flavour, it's very similar, smooth and very tasty. It is not overly citrusy or sharp but just a nice, creamy flavour. The creme filling as always is lovely and sweet without being too sickly and the wafer is always nice and crisp and light.
The packaging of this bar is much the same as a regular Kit Kat except for the fact that the wrapper is orange and has a picture of some oranges on the front so you cannot mistake it for a regular Kit Kat.
The great thing about this chocolate bar is the amount of calories. There are only 107 in a two finger Kit Kat orange bar which in my opinion makes it a very tasty, guilt free chocolate snack!
