Advantages: Light choc due to biscuit centre

KitKat is one of the most recognisable chocolate bars around. It is certainly one of my favourite chocolate bars, and is a fantastic product from Nestle that has evolved over the years. Nestle was founded in 1860 as a company producing nutritional items for babies. The chocolate side of it came to the fore in the 1920s following World War 1.

KitKat has traditionally been four fingers in foil, then with a plastic seal wrapper on the outside, in its distinctive red and white logo. Advertising has always persuaded the consumer to break off a finger at a time.

Recently, the packaging has changed from the tin foil covering that you peel off to a vac-pack style of foil, to maintain freshness. While I like the idea of keeping it fresh, I prefer the older style with the more traditional foil.

The chocolate itself surrounds crunchy biscuit, so it's not just chocolate. This is great for me because I can find choc a little rich at times. KitKats aren't a problem - I can eat a whole bar at a time no problem! I bought my four fingered KitKat from tesco for 41p.
