Have a break, have a KitKat! (Nestle Kit Kat)
Member Name: lunarc
Advantages: Delicious chocolate biscuit treat Disadvantages: Not enough of it! "Have a break, have a Kitkat" is probably one of the most well known and memorable chocolate bar phrases out there! KitKats are owned by Nestle, after first being created by Rowntree (which Nestle aquired in the late '80s). This chocolate bar takes the form of fingers of chocolate which are long, narrow rectangles in shape measuring around 1cm x 9cm. Each finger is made of chocolate covered biscuit and they are easily identifiable by their bright red packaging. You can buy them in four-finger packs, two-finger packs and now even single Chunky KitKats, which are just one finger but are much larger than a normal KitKat finger. Other KitKat varieties in the UK include one with dark chocolate and a peanut KitKat. Outside of the UK, there are even more varieties; including KitKat Kiwi Fruit (Japan), KitKat Pineapple (South Africa) and KitKat Mint Chocolate (Australia). Personally, I'm a huge fan of the chunky KitKats! The four-fingered KitKats are a close runner up, but the extra amount of yummy chocolate in the chunky version makes it a definite winner. KitKats are extremely tasty - it's no surprise they're such a big seller! Summary: Delicious chocolate biscuit treat available in a variety of sizes and tastes. |
