Advantages: Nice in a cup of tea

Disadvantages: None

Kit Kats are made by Nestle and was actually launched in 1935 as Rowntrees Chocolate Crisp. It was then renamed Kit Kat after the second World War. Kit Kats come in so many different varieties now but my favourite is the classic 4 bar Kit Kat.

The wrapping is a shiny red foil wrap with Kit Kat plastered across the front and they are the easy open tear the foil type packet. There are four bars of chocolate that can be snapped apart. They are basically a crispy wafer covered with Milk Chocolate. Each 4 finger bar comtains 233 calories, 2.9 grams of fat, 28.5 grams of carbohydrates and 11.8 grams of fat. The interseting thing is that on their ingredients list they state very clearly that they use 66% milk chocolate?!

When you bit into a finger of Kit Kat the nice thing is there isn't too much chocolate. Sometimes choccie bars can be sickly if there is too much of a good thing. These however can be eaten (a whole 4 bar) without feeling too sickly. The only downside to this is that it is all too easy to eat another bar.

I prefer some chocolate when they have been in the fridge and Kit Kats are definately one of thise preferences. Once they have been in the dridge a while they give a satisfying 'snap' when the fingers are broken up. It is also a bonus for me that Kit Kats (because there aren't solely chocolate) are lovely dunked in a cuppa.

This cost me around 40 pence but I am pretty sure they work out a bit cheaper if you buy them in Multipacks. The Kit Kat has taken off in such a way that there are a lot of variations in the bar such as Kit Kat Chunky, Kit Kat Senses and Standard Kit Kats but with Dark Chocolate.

Summary: Give them a dunk in a nice cuppa
