Advantages: none
Disadvantages: too much chocolate
I'm sitting here after eating a Kitkat chunky bar and to be honest...I feel sickly. It serves me right I suppose for eating the whole thing, but you know what it's like once you start you can't stop. A kitkat chunky will cost you around 42p depending on where you buy it from, yesturday I bought a four pack which was supposed to retail at £1.69 but was reduced to 69p. A bargain you might think, but I wish I hadn't bought it. The wrapper is a foil red colour like all the other kitkat' s, from two to four to the little mini one's they all have this wrapper which I'm sure you all are familiar with. They are made by Nestle, whomake lots of other chocolate bars and products, some people like them others don't. When you open the wrapper of this bar you will smell the loverly milk chocolate which tempts you into bitting it. The bar itself is just what it says on the pack. Chunky. A nice little wafer biscuit centre which is covered in the chunkiest thick chocolate you can imagine. I can't think of any other bar which has so much of a chocolate covering. When you bite into this bar it's quite hard, you'll be lucky if you can fit it in your mouth as it is chunky and when you bite it you can see the thickness of the chocolate on the little wafer centre. As for calories intake then be prepared to swoon. Each 100g is 514 calories so if you eat one of these and your on a diet, you better try and work it off with exercise before your next meal. The taste is of course delicious, a thck smooth milk chocolate which melts in your mouth to leave a nice chocolate taste. It's a very indulgent chcolate bar, I think that it is too much chocolate to eat in one go. Like I said I feel sickly after eating one bar of this, as it is very sweet. I don't know who is going to eat the other three bars which are left in the mulit pack I bought but it won't be me. I
think if your working in a ard job like on a building site or heavy lifting then this bar would probably give you the extra energy you need to carry on working all day. For a snack then it's just to much chocolate in one go. I think if your dieting steer clear, but if your exercising playing football or other such games then again it will provide the energy you need to give you a boost. I'd not recommend this to small children, not only would the chocolate intake make them hyper but I doubt if they could get the bar into their little mouths. Well, that's all from me for now. I'd better go and work off that excess energy I have just required from this kitkat.

- 07/03/04 I don't find Kit Kats too sickly, they'd have to be my fave chocolate bar. Good review, though. :-) |
