Advantages: Brilliant taste
Disadvantages: None
Dark chocolate kit kats are the food of the devil. Surely, with their creamy yet bitter taste, this temptation could have only been created by Beelzebub himself. Well, Nestle is about as close as you can get to a manufacturing devil (only to be topped by the demon that is Coca Cola), but not quite Satan, which is, in a way, disappointing.
Because chocolate this perfect should not have been created by a machine - it seems anti-climatic, as if there is so much more behind the chocolate than a ton of clogs and energy. The Dark Chocolate kit kat is an update on the old, traditional kit kat for those with a more refined taste. It still has all of the basic components which make a kit-kat a kit-kat - the crunchy biscuit exterior, and the soft covering of chocolate, with the four finger bars having a dimension of around 4cm by 12cm.
But, aside from that, it is a completely different foodstuff entirely. The wrapper is somehow more appealing, and once you've opened it, you're presented with a different, more rich colour of chocolate. The texture is not quite the same as the original kit kat, and even the inner biscuits seem darker and more thick. The only disappointing thing about this is that the outer layer of chocolate seems thinner.

Personally, I think that the dark chocolate kit kat is a brilliant upgrade of the milk version, and definitely worth a try. I think that the other flavour you should try is cappuccino, which is in my opinion a fantastic alternative to the dark chocolate bars, and a million times better than the old traditional kit kat.
Summary: Tastes brilliant, everyone should try it!
