Advantages: The taste.
Disadvantages: The chocolate moustache.
The humble Kit-Kat has been around since before the dinosaurs it would seem but has never really been a favourite with me, I am never sure whether it is a biscuit or a chocolate bar and I am never sure what to make of it either. However all that said there is now the Kit-Kat dark and this is a whole new ball game.
The Kit-Kat dark is so delicious it is dangerous, the addition of the rich dark chocolate to those little wafer fingers turns them from mild mannered simple snacks into a devilishly good more upper class fiend of a snack.
I can regularly be seen in and around town buying these dark delights and shamelessly stuffing them into my mouth with not a thought for what it is doing for my figure, almost any other sweet I eat will make me feel guilty afterwards but with these it just seems so right.
The fine dark Kit-Kat is covered in chocolate that has at least 50% cocoa solids and has a darker yet still creamy taste, a lovely bitter sweet chocolate that melts on the taste buds calling out for you to take your next bite before you have even swallowed your last.
Eating this dark delight is almost like being possessed, you get lost in the moment and it does not matter at all that you have a chocolate moustache from shoving the fingers in so quickly and that everyone is staring at you, it matters even less that you have just consumed 233 calories and are already considering having another one, all that matters is that your dark side is being fed.
Costing only the same as a normal Kit-Kat (around 45p for the four finger version) you do not need to worry that your habit will become too expensive and that you will be forced into a life of crime to feed your dark side, although if you were you would not care about that either just so long as you could have your fine dark Kit-Kat!
Thanks for reading!
