Advantages: Yummy, an adults Kinder Bueno

Disadvantages: Pricey individually,

I have just been browsing in my nearest Sainsbury's Local for a yummy treat that will not watch me take a leap headfirst into calorific hell.

I have started weightwatchers points this week and am determined to succeed. But I needed something. I picked up a small sushi (for carbs) and I walked to the chocolate aisle. I've not had a bar of chocolate for over 2 weeks - a record for me. So I decided to have a look and I felt unreasonably hungry today.
I do know that caramel and really biscuity things (like a Twix) are hideously calorific. But I remembered the leggy lovelies from Girls Aloud advertising KitKat Senses.

I saw.I grabbed. I paid. I left.

Not very much later on I was seated at my desk rating some reviews and I remembered - ah-ha ! My choccie bar! The wrapping is red just like ordinary KitKat and is of the foil variety. It comes in five (I think - it disappeared so fast!) segments each of which is wrapped in thick chocolate and has the wafer inside that KitKat is famous for. As you open the packet the Hazelnut flavour greets you like an old friend and the richness of the Nestle chocolate is immediately apparent. The outside is smooth, silky and looks divine.

It tastes as good as it looks, but as I've not had a bar for over 2 weeks it tastes better! Crisp, smooth and just as a treat should taste! The hazelnut is not overpowering, and is almost like a grown up's version of a Kinder Bueno
It does have the nutritional information clearly on the reverse and it only has 165 calories in it's 45.4g bar. However this is between 3.5 and 4 of my drastically declining weightwatchers points. There are as far as I know only one variety of 'Senses' which is a Hazelnut type flavour.

Girls Aloud are currently KitKat Senses poster girls and are doing an excellent job. KitKat Senses are also sponsoring the Girls' tour this summer, so if you are going hope to get some freebies.

The only downside to this bar is that it did cost an extraordinary 59p at Sainsbury's (in London), which I am sure you could get it cheaper elsewhere. They are also available in multipacks of 5 - for those of you who have willpower! They did not have these in Sainsbury's, so I cannot comment on the price.

Summary: Yummy scrummy bar which should be bigger with half the calories !
