Advantages: Between a chocolate bar and a biscuit

Disadvantages: Can't see these being around for too long

As I have such a sweet tooth, I try to make it my ongoing mission to try all newly introduced chocolate bars and other versions of well known products more out of curiosity than anything.

I saw a bar of Kit Kat Senses in the local shop to where I work one lunchbreak and decided to give it a go.

When I unwrapped the bar, I found it looks like a kit kat version of a kinder bueno. I wasn't sure if this is what Kit Kat/ Nestle are trying to do here, as it is not like a kit kat. You get five nodules of "sense" each one tastes a bit like a ferrero rocher chocolate without the little bits of nut on the outside.

You bite into one of the pieces of this and it is chocolate, wafer shell (like ferrero rocher) and a pale brown coloured runny stuff inside. They are divine but are a little too close to Kinder Bueno and Ferrero Rochers for my liking. They aren't a chocolate bar, they aren't a biscuit they are just one of those wafery and praline nutty things in the middle. I can imagine you would like this if you dislike bars of chocolate for example.

One bar will cost around 57p-69p (they are expensive from corner shops who capitalise on new products!) or you can buy a multipack of 5 bars from most supermarkets for around £1.46.

Each bar contans 165 calories and 9.5g of fat. This is just over half of the nutritional calories/ fat of a 58g snickers bar or a mars bar. It is 4 times the fat of a Mr Kipling French Fancie cake.

Overall, this is something I would recommend you to try once. I cannot see mysef buying them regularly. They taste good, but I'd rather have a couple of Ferrero Rochers.

Summary: These are tasty and nutty but hard to see how they fit into the snack market as kinder did the bueno
