Advantages: Tasty,low cal, cheap enough
Disadvantages: One doesn't satisfy my sweet tooth
I am a typical girl who loves chocolate and eats it every day. My latest chocolate of choice are KitKat's of the orange variety.
*PRICE AND AVAILABILITY*
These have been available in every large supermarket for a while now, and are sold in multipacks of 10 for around £1.60 (depending on the store).
I bought my packet from the Co-op as they were on special offer for only £1 - 10p per biscuit is a complete bargain!
*PACKAGING*
The biscuits are packaged in the trademark red wrappers with the very recognisable KitKat logo on it. Because these are orange flavoured, they also have a picture of a few oranges on it too.
I like the packaging as it feels familiar to me, reminding me of when I was living at home and my Mum used to always buy KitKat's for the biscuit cupboard.
*NUTRITION*
No chocolate is gonna be healthy, I know that, but I always try to keep an eye out for the lower calorie treats as it makes me feel better about eating them.
One of these KitKat's contains only 107 calories. That is not a lot considering most people should eat between 2000 and 2500 calories per day.
The fat content is 5.6g, quite high then but what do you expect - it is a chocolate biscuit after all.
*TASTE*
On opening the shiny silver wrapper, you will find two fingers of biscuits, together as one.
I would definatley recommend breaking them into two separate fingers - never eat them together as it doesn't taste as nice.
On biting, you will find a crunchy, biscuity texture - and taste a lovely creamy chocolate. This variety also has an orange flavour which is secondary to the familiar chocolate taste.
Delicious !
*OVERALL OPINION*
I really enjoy eating these KitKat's, the only problem for me is that one is never enough, and I have to eat two or three to feel satisfied.
The price is right, as is the taste,so go on, have a break have a KitKat!
Summary: Very nice to dip in your tea!
