** WARNING : This review may offend if you... - don't like crisps or are on a diet and snap at the mere mention of snack foods - do not like the odd sweary word (I admit, they do pop out!) - do not like innuendo (how could I do it with a simple snack review? You evidently have not been exposed to my filthy, corrupting mind before) - do not like long reviews. I tend to ramble. By continuing to read, you accept the above warnings and in no way, shape or form will moan at me about it unless it really is a pants review. Any criticism regarding swearys, innuendo, length or insensitivity to diet-ers will be ignored. Or brought to everyone's attention ... Read the complete review

Are you like me? Did you often used to go to the sweet shop with nothing more than ten or twenty pence in your hand? If so, the likes of a chocolate bar would have been beyond you, but these crisps wouldn't! At just 10p a pack, Space Raiders are the bargain basement of the crisp world, to go along with Chomps and other cheap-o items! The packet has to be one of the worst for crisps that has ever been created: low quality plastic in black (how ominous can you get), with a poorly illustrated alien head on it. You certainly don't pay for graphic design with this lot! The crisps are supposedly alien face shaped, although really they look like a ... Read the complete review

These are the best 10p crisps you can actually purchase. There are similar ones such as some cheesy ones I have tried, but their flavour just wasn't up to scratch. Space Raiders are legendary crisps that I'll always remember as they are just so good for 10p. If I only had 30p, I'd buy 3 packets of these rather than borrowing a bit more to get one packet of Walkers for example. The big shame is that nowadays, the price has actually risen to 15p. So I could now only get 2 packets with my 30p. They come in a black packet with a large green alien face in the middle. The 'Space Raiders' logo is in yellow writing with a red surrounding in the style of the Star Wars ... Read the complete review

When I was in the last year of junior school I got the oppportunuity to run the school shop with a few other girls in my class. We would get orders from all over the school, box it up and send it down to their class. Everynow and again we'd find a packet of crisps that had popped whilst on it's journey to the school so we'd tell the teacher and she'd let me an dmy friends eat them. It wasn't long before I got a bit cocky and started popping a bag on purpose so that I could stuff them without having to pay. Space Raiders were one of my favourites and if my friends and I were debating about which flavours to pop, I would always choose these. These used to be ... Read the complete review

Space Raider crisps are a bit of a student snack. Anyone who went to university in the 1990s will have had a phase of living on 10p crisps, bottles of coke and pasta shells with tomato ketchup. These have been sold for 10p from the 1970s to 2007. In 2007, KP decided to increase the price to 15p = A 50% price increase for no more product. You used to put up with the snack and the bags where the contents are soggy as there was a hole in the end of the bag and the bags that contain 8 crisps because, well they were 10p. For some reason increasing a 10p snack to 15p has created a minor internet backlash (I recall seeing a facebook group along the lines ... Read the complete review
