Advantages: Taste, price.
Disadvantages: Can leave breath smelly.
Space Raiders are baked corn snacks which come in a a 16g bag. They are available in a variety of flavours, but today I am reviewing the pickled onion flavour in particular. They are available in many shops either in a multipack, or single bag.
*PACKAGING*
The Bag the crisps are contained in is black, with an aliens face on the front. It is a very distinctive bag which would definatly attract children to them.
*NUTRITION*
A 16g bag of picked onion space raider, will contain just 77 calories. That really is quite low. The fat content is a bit higher, at 3.5 g per bag - still that is much lower than most normal crisps. I don't for one minute think that they are healthy, however they aren't too bad as a occaisional snack.
*TASTE*
These are the most flavoursome crisps I've ever tasted . Each crisp seems to be coated with pickled onion flavour, which makes them taste delicious. They are also crunchy and each crisp is just the right size for a mouthful.
*MY OPINION*
I am a big fan of these crisps and have been eating them for years. They cost less than most other crips at just 15p per bag, so they're great if you're skint or a child with pocket money. They don't contain many calories for those of us counting. These snacks have an appeal to children as well as adults as the alien on the packet make them seem fun. I might give kids a packet as a treat.
The only people I wouldn't reccommend these to, are those people who do not like strong flavours - also don't eat them before a meeting as they leave your breathe a bit smelly.
Summary: I love these and will continue to eat them occaisionly
