These chopped tomatoes are much the same as supermarket value branded versions, in a rich thick tomato juice.
The calorie content per 100g is 18kcals which makes them great low calorie addition to a curry base, pasta sauce, soup or chilli and also great on toast.
I have noticed that there has been the odd yellow/green tomato hue in the tin but these are not unpleasant or a nuisance, they simply blend in with the dish. They have a great sweet tomato taste.

KTC Chopped Tomatoes are currently on a multibuy at Asda (which is the only supermarket I have seen them stocked at) for 3 tins for £1, so 33.3p per tin!! This is the only reason I bought these over the Asda Smart Price ones (which are currently 35p). I use chopped tomatoes on a lot of different pasta and rice dishes and also with an English Breakfast.
