I am a huge fan of spreadable cheese and sometimes I even want to eat triangles whole and on their own. I like to buy whatever I can afford when buying lunch things as I tend to get bored of the same old sandwiches day in and day out. Laughing Cow Cheese Triangles are sold by Sainsbury's stores for £1.05 for 8 triangles or £1.78 for 16 triangles so these are quite reasonably priced. Each triangle has 41 calories and 3.3g of fat so these are something tasty that I can eat without worrying too much about my waistline, however, there is also light & extra light versions available if you are really watching the calories or fat. The triangles are ... Read the complete review

After deciding to go on weight watchers last week I asked myself how I was going to survive cutting down on my cheese intake. Cheese is my favourite food, always has been, always will be. However, I have never really been a fan of cheese spread. But whilst shopping in my local tescos supermarket I noticed laughing cow extra light cheese spread, the packet was a nice purple colour so I thought I may aswell give them a go. The cheese is seperated into 8 triangles, making it easy to keep fresh and decide on a portion size. This also makes it very convenient to use. The cheeses are in a circular cardboard box which can be easily recycled and unlike the ... Read the complete review

My 2-year old has decided that this week he is only eating bread and cheese.....thank goodness for multivitamins hidden stealthfully in his juice! So we have been experimenting with a wide array of bread and cheese type products. I usually avoid processed cheese but am quickly learning who is now boss in our household and consoled myself that this is a pretty wholesome brand, in fact I loved them as a child...living overseas they were 'La Vache Qui Rit' and had a catchy little jingle on TV - we were quite desperate for any kind of TV when we were little! I digress... I paid £1.08 at Sainsbury's for the original Laughing Cow pack with 8 triangle portions. ... Read the complete review

When I was growing up we lived on the Kent coast, just 22 miles from France and occasional shopping hops across the Channel were quite commonplace and that's where I first met " La Vache Qui Rit" - a saucy looking red cow sporting a come hither smile and wearing earrings inscribed on a box containing little, individually wrapped soft cheese triangles. I remember it pleased me that, even with limited schoolgirl French, I could understand that it meant "The Cow Who Laughs". HISTORY & PEDIGREE! I don't remember these being generally available on this side of the Channel at that time although apparently its manufacturer, the Bel ... Read the complete review

Laughing Cow Cheese Triangles As my children are terrible when it comes to drinking milk, I am always trying other sneaky ways to get that calcium intake up. These are individually wrapped cheese spread triangles and have challenged Dairylea, which seemed to be the big cheese (groan!) when I was growing up. I like these triangles as they are big and chunky, as opposed to some other brands. By the time you get the fiddly foil off these, there doesn't seem much spread there - not so with the Laughing Cow! ***The Taste*** They are stored in a round cardboard container and when you peel the foil off a portion, it comes away ...
