... nice these actually are and they made a very nice change from having a biscuit of chocolate bar. I have nothing but praise for these Snowballs from Lee's and from me they receive a well deserved 5/5 Dooyoo stars. If they are available where you are then they make for a cheap, tasty and somewhat healthier alternative from your regular treats and now that I have rediscovered them I will make sure that I buy them again. --LEES SNOWBALLS-- Lees of Scotland Ltd are makers of biscuits and Confectionery and they are the manufacturers of the famous 'Snowball'. I love these. They are absolutely delicious and very light in texture. The Company also produce raspberry coconut ice and jaffa orange and their goods are widely available throughout the UK from the small local shop through to the larger supermarket. Lees also supply to the catering trade and export abroad too. The Snowball has been around for a good few years and has become a firm favourite within the UK household and over 50 million are sold here each year.- Snowballs are great fun! I know Kellogg's use the tagline "have you forgotten how good they taste" when promoting their breakfast cereals but the same sentiment sprung to my mind today after eating a Snowball from Lee's. These have been around for ages and I remember them from my childhood, so when I saw a box of 10 Snowballs on offer today at Morrisons at 2 for £1.50 I had a journey back down memory lane. If you haven't seen these before they are a dome shaped, mallow centred chocolate flavoured treat that has a generous helping of desiccated coconut liberally sprinkled all over the outside and are delicious. The white mallow is light and fluffy and quite sweet ...  Read the complete review

I was craving a sweet treat the other day but trying to keep it reasonably light in terms of calories and I ended up grabbing a pack of Lees snowballs from the shelf of my local spar. Well I actually ended up picking up two packets as a six pack was 79p and two packs cost a pound. Good for my pocket but not for my waistline. The packagine contains a picture of penguins and polat bears merrily throwing snowballs at each other. Inside the packet each snowball is nestles in its own little compartment which offers this delicate treat some protection. Each snowball half of a sphere shape. The outside is almost totally white with the little strands of ...  Read the complete review

I am a stickler for treats, as people may know i am all for people having a treat now and again - it's good for you. And one thing that is really nice to buy in from time to time is Snowballs. I tend to go for Tesco Snowballs mostly but i did buy the Lees snowballs if i'm not mistaken i think they cost around 79p. The package itself is really cute, there is a illustration of 2 penguins and a polar bear launching snow balls at one another. You have the 'Lees' logo in the top left and you can clearly see the 6 snowballs inside. Inside, you have 6 gorgeous looking snowballs that are almost circular, a plastic case protecting them. Each one coated in ...  Read the complete review
