On Saturday we strayed into Home and Bargains and I picked up a cute little pyramid of Cocoa Deli Chocolate Almonds (or as the packet describes them "whole caramelised almonds covered in white marbled and milk chocolate") for 49p. I suspect these would usually be quite a bit more than that, as these are quite near their sell by date, but as Google isn't helping me out here I'm not sure how much more. I haven't tried Cocoa Deli before. I've occasionally seen their fancy little chocolate lollipop things in Tesco but they've always seemed a bit too costly for something that would be too sweet for me. On a quick dash to the shops recently I spied something new and just could not resist Lily O'Brien's Caramel Toffee Biscuit Crunch Belgian Milk Chocolate Lolly Truffle. Part of the Lily O'Brien Cocoa Deli range. This is a very big name for such a small treat. It has the appearance of a mini Magnum Ice Cream bar and has Cocoa Deli on the front of the wrapper. There are three to choose from Mixed Berry Crunch, Cookies & Cream, and the one as listed above which I am reviewing.
