With the Lindt Gold Bunny you enjoy the ultimate Easter emotion. Gold Bunny is the friend that joyfully enlivens your emotions." Well this is another of my Easter gifts surfacing here. He is just too special! - There is something magical about the 'Lindt Gold Bunny'. It is so beautifully crafted, then wrapped ... Read the complete review

Lindt Gold Bunny Packaging The packaging is very attractive and makes these bunnies appealing to both children and adults. They definitely have the ahhhhhhhhhhhh factor. Cute rabbit shaped chocolate with gold foil wrapping and a red neck tie fastened with a bow and a little bell (that really tinkles). Brief History Rodolphe lindt was probably the most famous chocolate maker of his day. In 1879 he developed a technique by which he could manufacture chocolate which was superior to all others. So, ignoring the confusion about what bunnies and choclate have to do with Easter (Thank you to the late Bill Hicks for raising those points when I was younger and getting me into a lot of trouble at school when I asked about it!), Easter is a time for rebirth, awakenings, and most importantly chocolate edibles in the shape of creatures. And Lindt have made the perfect Easter treat in the form of the gold bunny, it's brilliance isn't just in looks or taste but also in the lovely adverts they show on tv when they are looking for the bunnies and ring a lindt bell and they all come out from their hiding places. It's just an utterly charming advert that makes me ... Read the complete review

Lindt - luxury - a brand which if there adverts are to be believed will be a worthwhile chocolate experiece. Well it certainly delivers this and more. With the bunny and Christmas reindeer versions available at all supermarkets and with aggressive advertising these certainly form a large part of festive gifts. And for good reason; starting externally the wrapper is shiney and luxurious. The bell is an outstading feature, not only characterising the brand but providing an amusing addition to this eatable feast. The price is reasonalbe, but only has 200g of chocolate. You are paying a premium for the shaping and packaging, but I feel that ... Read the complete review

I gratefully received a little 200g milk chocolate Lindt bunny last easter (I had this review all drafted up but never submitted it for some reason). I was on a diet at the time and told everybody not to buy for me so instead of a big egg I got this little bunny. The Lindt bunnies are seasonal and are sadly only available around easter time each year, although they can be ordered at various places online. They are available from all the good food shops such as Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons. I've heard that Lindt also make dark chocolate and white chocolate bunnies but I've never tasted or even seen these in the shops. The RRP price for the 200g bunnies ... Read the complete review
