Advantages: Worth the price
Disadvantages: What to do with the bell afterwards...?
Lindt - luxury - a brand which if there adverts are to be believed will be a worthwhile chocolate experiece. Well it certainly delivers this and more.
With the bunny and Christmas reindeer versions available at all supermarkets and with aggressive advertising these certainly form a large part of festive gifts.
And for good reason; starting externally the wrapper is shiney and luxurious. The bell is an outstading feature, not only characterising the brand but providing an amusing addition to this eatable feast.
The price is reasonalbe, but only has 200g of chocolate. You are paying a premium for the shaping and packaging, but I feel that it is worth it.
Peel the wrapper off reveals a moulded chocolate bunny, still detailed with the features seen on the outside. The moulding certainly does not leave you feeling you have been eating a simepl easter egg. It is thick, solid and requires quite a bite to get through.
It is quite easy to re-wrap this bunny and finish it off later. The wrapping is stong enough to stand the rigors of re-application.
Therefore, with the luxury provided for this festive experince it is qorth buying as a gift - doesn't stike me as the sort of thing you'd get away with buying for yourself.
Summary: Tasty easter egg alternative
