The egg itself is quite a dark colour, not quite as dark as I had expected though, more of a very rich milk chocolate! It felt smooth to touch and quite soft too.
Biting into the top of the egg I discovered the shell was quite thick and creamy, soft when bitten into. It had a very rich dark chocolate taste, and melted in the mouth very quickly. I had recently tried the milk chocolate Lindt Lindor Egg. I thought it was fairly tasty, and since I adore dark chocolate, I decided I would give that one a try too! So Iwent in search for this secretive dark product and thankfully found it no bother in the Easter confectionary section in my local tesco! The egg is, well, an egg shape! Think Creme Egg or Mars egg. Around it there is a dark black foil wrapping with white tips. On the front the Lindt logo can be seen, a beautiful golden elegent symbol.
