Advantages: Lovely quality product
Disadvantages: Pricey
I had a largely chocolate free Easter this year, a conscious decision to avoid chocolate between now and the summer holidays and the only exception to this was a bag of Lindt Lindor Mini Eggs.
Lindt do make lovely Swiss milk chocolate and it is slightky more expensive than the standard Cadbury or Galaxy chocolate that most people buy. Each of the eggs is wrapped in red foil with some white writing on it. The chocolate gives off a lovely rich aroma and each egg has a nice crunch to the outer shell as you bite into it. The chocolate is very smooth and has a mellow flavour to it, there is a nice creamy feel in your mouth as the chocolate coats the roof of my mouth and tongue and there is a lovely rich after taste to it.
Being milk chocolate it is very sweet and also very tasty. Thereis a hint of cocoa to it but you can also taste the cream in it. I find the eggs to be quite filling and personally I like them to have been in the fridge for a while before I eat the as this makes the chocolate a little firmer.
These were my only treat at Easter but then I always think that small amounts of a quality product taken inmoderation is far better than eating lots of an inferior product and there is nothing inferior about Lindt chocolate.
Summary: Rich Swiss chocolate
