Loyd Grossman Wild Mushroom & Tomato Sauce 350g

I bought this product simply because my local Tesco had the full range on half price so I only paid 79p for the jar. I guess that means that usually they retail for around £1.58 which seems quite pricey for this 350g jar but then I suppose with the name you excpect to pay a little more. Anyway, I was intrigued to use it and so on saturday night I made a pasta dish with it, I did not use it as a straight sauce but added some chopped courgettes and mushrooms and some quorn pieces once it was in the pan and simmered for about 20 minutes before stirring into some cooked penne.
