The rind of the cheese is nice and waxy and tastes dead fresh, I don't always eat the rind but did on this one because it goes so good with the cheese and takes a bit of the richness away from it. I'm a bit of a cheese fiend when I get the mood on me and even though you might hear me say sometimes that I'm not mad keen cheese, that's when I'm going through a phase of not eating much of it but deep down I love it always! I got this whole small camembert from Tesco and it's loads better than the Tesco own or other varieties that might be a bit cheaper or a bit more expensive. I love this Lubborn Somerset Camembert because it's got such a yummy full flavour but hasn't got that weird off flavour that a lot of camembert cheese has got. The issue of product names is always a thorny one. The Champagne producers of France are probably most famous for jealously guarding their unique right to produce wine under this designation; all other is "merely" sparkling wine, even if it is produced by the "traditional method". By the same token, I have never been able to understand why every man and his dog, all around the World, are able to get away with calling their usually uninspiring cheese, Cheddar!
