Lubelski cheese is a Polish product deriving from the town of Lubelski region near Lublin, a few centuries ago the region was an inland sea considerably shallower than today's Baltic or Black sea's but leaving behind with it a rich sandy type of soil where the cow's graze happily on its grass. Lubelski tends to be cut from a cylindrical shape, so generally at least one sound is always oval. The cheese is a light white yellow colour, has a soft bouncy texture to it and has similarities in taste to a poor version of Mozarella.
