Ever since I have had to supply my own lunch at work, I have been using cereal bars as a healthy alternative snack to pork pies and sausage rolls or the scotch egg that I used to enjoy tucking into. This is not because of anything to do with me wanting to lose weight but more because I don't eat a lot of fruit and veg and so this is my way of trying to stay at least a little bit more healthy! When I saw these moist fruit bars recently and read that they contain no artifical flavours or preservatives etc etc, I figured that they might make a change from the Jordans Fruslli bars I usually purchase. Fruitful by Nature I recently stumbled on some new cereal bars and so decided to share my thoughts on them as they are quite different in my opinion to other cereal bars out there. Fruitus cereal bars are described as a moist organic mixed berry and oat bar containing 1 portion of fruit in every bar. One portion of fruit, that can't be bad I thought. This statement was actually written on the front of the box and was what made me purchase them in the first place so a great bit of advertising on their part. They are also 100% organic as well. As a Weightwatcher, I'm always on the lookout new products in my quest for foods which taste good, without using up all my points allowance for the day. I love cereal bars, but many are high in points, without the flavour to make it worth my while using them - in most cases I'd rather use my points elsewhere. As a result, my choice of cereal bars is limited and it's always good to have something different to try. When I saw Fruitus bars in Sainsburys last week, I decided to give them a go.
