This was a real treat in my opinion - I have been wanting to try Beef wellington for years, and never got around to it until a few weeks ago. I had just been paid and had a trip to Marks and Spencer. There they were, a pack of two (not four as stated above) small beef wellingtons, for £7.99. They didn't quite look how I expected, and I'm still not sure if they were a classic recipe, but they were truly divine (yes I was a pig and ate 2!!). The beef was some of the best fillet steak I've tasted, and the finely chopped mushrooms in red wine sauce really complimented the meat.
