Macsween are Scotland's best known haggis producer. They have been producing traditional haggis for over 50 years and the vegetarian haggis for 25 years and export both of these products worldwide. The vegetarian haggis is a mixture of kidney beans, lentils, nuts, turnip, vegetarian margerine, onion and oats all minced finely and encased in a man made plastic casing. Cooking is easy, either place in a steamer for an hour or cut it into chunks and microwave it for a few minutes, exactly the same as traditional haggis.
