... just keep the other one in the box without it going off. To cook them, you take them out of the cardboard, then out of the plastic film wrap. You then place them in a special piece of card with a foil lined inside which helps crisp the pockets. Then you simply just put the hot pocket on a microwavable plate and set the time to 2 minutes 30 seconds. When they are done, they will be very hot so you may have to let them cool a little before eating, especially if they are for children. They are nice just on their own wit...more

I picked up a box of Maggi Hot Pockets in my local Iceland shop because they were on offer at two for £1.50. There are two in each box and I thought they might be useful for lunchtime snacks. The packaging is bright yellow and red and certainly eye catching and the Maggi name is one I remember from dried packet soups and stock cubes. This particular product is made in France by Nestle. There are several flavours available but I have only tried the cheese and ham ones and I'm unlkely to try the ohers.. Inside the box were two pasty shaped pastries and I must admit that they were smaller than I expected them to be. Judging by the size of ...  Read the complete review

Maggi hot pockets are available from lots of different supermarkets, you will find them in with the frozen foods as they are a frozen snack, I wouldnt call them a meal as they dont fill you up enough for you to be able to eat them on there own as a meal. You get two pastries in a box which only take 2 mins 30 seconds to cook in the microwave but you will have to leave them to cool for a couple of minutes as they are very hot when you take them out. They concist of a pastry out side which is light fluffy and crispy to the taste which is realy nice, inside you get a very generous amount of filling, in this case You get little cubes of ham which has ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Maggi Hot Pockets Cheese and Ham: hot food in minutes (243 words)

I love these, this is my idea of food in minutes. I get these from farmfoods for 75p a box and there are 2 in a box. To cook them all you do is take one of them out of the box, remove the plastic wrapper, slide it into the cardboard sleave provided, pop it on a plate and put it in the microwave for 2 min 30 seconds and its ready. They are red hot when they come out of the microwave and take a few minutes to cool down enough to be able to be picked up and eaten like a pastey. The pastry on these is realy nice, i like my pastry dry and flakey like these are not soggy like most reheatable pastry items are. There is ...  Read the complete review

I eat a lot more junk food than I probably should, especially when I have too much to on my hands to bother cooking properly. In Iceland the other day I found Maggi Hot Pockets Cheese and Ham, thinking that my husband might like them I decided to try a box. They cost £1 for a box of two hot pockets so that's not too bad. The box is red, orange and yellow with a picture of the cooked hot pocket on it with steam rising from it and the name of the food. On the back of the packet are the ingredients, nutritional information and the cooking instructions. These hot pockets are really easy to cook which is part of the reason why I chose them. They're great ...  Read the complete review

I have been off a lot lately since it is the summer and I am not at university. So I do find since being a student I did get lazy but for going back in Autumn I have been trying to find different products that I could use for snacks or lunch in between classes. While at my local supermarket I came across the Maggi Hot Pockets which were microwavable which I do try to stay away from as it is unhealthy but they looked too good to resist and with a preparation time of only two and a half minutes it sounded like something I would benefit from. The packaging is very eye catching with this product, I haven’t heard of Maggi before but I soon would. The cover has a ...  Read the complete review
