Maltesers are my second favourite bag of chocolate sweets that I like to eat. A standard 45g pack will cost about 55p and there are larger sharing packs like a 100g version for £1.05 but lets be honest the sharing is just playing ticks with your mind as these are very moorish and a bag never lasts long. As always I freeze them before consuming.

Maltesers are little balls of milk chocolate on the outside with a malted honeycomb centre. They are quite small and the chocolate on the outside is smooth so the little darlings roll quite well if you let them out of the packet.

When you bite into them they have a lovely crunch to them, the milk chocolate is nice and smooth and creamy while the centre is a biscuit which is a bit crumbly and offsets the very sweet chocolate. I like to let the chocolate melt and then allow the biscuit to melt away as well. They are very Moorish indeed and there is something about them that means no matter what the size of packet I always crave more and for some reason I never feel full up eating them, must be psychological because they are light but still pack a punch on the calorie count.
