Advantages: you can make them float!

Disadvantages: they can make you fat!

Maltesers are a yummy little bag (or box) of chocolate balls produced by the company Mars incorporated.

They are available in a big 135g bag, a 120g box, a 75g tube or the standard pack size of 37g.

Each pack contains:

Calories: 187
Protein: 2.9g
Carbohydrate: 23.2g
Fat: 9.1g

The Malteser is constructed by placing a malt honeycomb sphere in milk chocolate to create a supposedly 'light' confectionary snack as the air inside the honeycomb keeps the content looking big but in reality small.

Maltesers used to be called energy balls back when Forrest Mars Sr. created them back in 1936, and were actually at one point advertised by citing its weight losing properties!

I do enjoy the odd 'light' ball of chocolate biscuit but we all know that these are just as good for you as any other high fat, high carbohydrate confectionary product.

The great thing about maltesers is the amount of ways in which they can be eaten, and because they are light, if you are skilled you can levitate the malteser in the air by blowing it!

I personally like to eat all the chocolate off first and then chuck the honeycomb bit away, that way I am saving myself from eating too much fat :)

Summary: tasty light ball of choccy
