I personally think maltesers are a little bit of an acquired taste. They consist of bubbly balls of malt coated in galaxy chocolate. Being mostly air, they are rather low in calories for a chocolate based sweet. A small bag costs a little more than the equivalent bar of chocolate, with prices of up to 70p for a 50 bag not being un ... Read the complete review

I've been completely naughty in the last month when it comes to my level of chocolate consumption. I am normally really strict, limiting myself to one peice a day but something has happened to my self control and resolve in the last few weeks and I have been scoffing my way through stacks of the gorgeous stuff. I think it must be to do with the ... Read the complete review

I don't eat a lot of chocolate as I am constantly watching my weight! However I like to take my children to our local cinema and no film would be complete without some chocolate to munch! I usually buy a few bags of sweets from the supermarket before we go to the cinema as they are always much cheaper! On my last visit I choose a packet of ... Read the complete review

Maltesers are unique in this country, there is no other sweet quite like it, they are unique in England but not unique to it with maltesers being produced world wide, the Americans have their own version called 'whoppers' which are produced by the hershey chocolate company. Maltesers are a product of the huge Mars company, they were ... Read the complete review

Ok, so I have sat here this evening watching tv and I thought I would open a bag of Maltesers from the fridge, before long I realised that I had in fact eaten the whole lot, so what I hear you say? I did not just eat the ordinary 37g bags but a 135g bag to myself and although it was fabulous I feel slightly sick! I thought that while I ... Read the complete review

For the past few days at work, we have been having a chocolate and sweetie feast as everyone is bringing in their unwanted Halloween sweets and sharing them around. Today was heaven as someone brought in a bunch of Maltesers (along with some other chocolate from Nestle that was vastly inferior!). Maltesers have always been one of my favourite ... Maltesers are mad, why do we like them so much when there's hardly and chocolate on them and they are so light that they don't fill you up for 5 mins??? They're little balls of crunchy honeycomb that are coated in milk chocolate. The chocolate looks quite glossy and when you bite into a Malteser you'll be suprised by how crunchy it ... Mars Maltesers. Now then, as a married man, I can safely say that I spend a good deal of my time 'popping' to the shop for some chocolate. Anything specific? No, thanks, just some Maltesers...........So, do I get to eat them much? Do me a favour. You think I'd eat a woman's chocolate? I value my life, thanks! Especially where Maltesers are ... Another of the Mars catalogues classic treats is of course the Maltesers having been around in one shape or another since 1936 they are one of the chocolates that seem like the were made to be shared, though the adverts say other wise. I've myself got a bag that's suitable for sharing (135g) and cost around £1.70 from Morrison's though the sweets ... Read the complete review

Maltesers are small chocolate balls. Inside maltesers is honeycomb, a crunchy sweet filling covered in creamy milky chocolate. The honeycomb is lovely because it melts on your tongue as you suck on them. You can get maltesers in a big 135g bag, a 120g box, a 75g tube or the standard pack size of 37g. The bags are great for watching a ... Read the complete review

Anyone scrolling through my reviews must think that all I do is eat chocolate! This isn't true (well not really!) but I do love a bit of the sweet stuff. Through my experiences with different chocolates I have become a bit of a connoisseur and love varying my weekly treats. Believe it or not though, I used to eat extremely healthy, to ... Maltesers are a delicious chocolately sweet made by Mars. They are crunchy honeycomb spheres, encased in milk chocolate, and are one of the most moorish sweets I've ever come across! Malteasers come in 37g bags, or in larger sharing bags. I would recommend the smaller ones though, as it is far too easy to eat a big bag all to ... Read the complete review
