Maltesers are small honeycombed maltey balls covered in reasonable chocolate, they were created in 1936 and marketed as energy balls, they come in a variety of quantities - from small fun sized bags up to buckets [ presumabley for the American market ! ] They melt in the mouth and leave a small ball of maltey goodness which just ... Maltesers, manufactured by Mars since 1936, are small honeycomb balls with a thin chocolate covering. Ok I know I keep going on about this is my reviews, but when you are on a diet, you have to wring as much pleasure out of your food as possible! I am as much about quantity as quality and genuinely believe I would not get through a diet without some amount of chocolate each day-it's what keeps me going when faced with a plate of salad. Maltesers are a very unique brand of confectionery that has been imitated by several cheapie attempts, but has never been met or bettered. With their light touch and taste, these little chocolate balls are incredibly Moorish, and whatever the size of the pack, you can be sure that they won't last long! Ingrediants: Wheat glucose ... Maltesers is one of the ultimate brands in the confectionery market. They have been around for quite a few years and in that time there have been special editions introduced as well. Some of which have stayed, for example the "white maltesers". Maltesers consist of a crunchy/biscuity feeling malt core which is then coated with ... Read the complete review

Always a family favourite for as long as I can remember and you always see these around the house during Christmas. A small honeycomb ball totally covered in milk chocolate. One advert says "the sweet you can eat between meals without ruining your appetite", WRONG!!! Problem is once you start eating these, it is very difficult to ... Read the complete review

I don't think there are many people out there who have not tried Maltesers, but if you haven't they are small balls of honeycombe covered in milk chocolate. They come in various size packets and boxes. They cost about £1.69 for a family pack. Just a word of advice the sweets taste better out of a plastic pack and not a box, they never seem as ... Maltesers I am normally only really a big lover of Cadburys chocolate but with maltesers I make an exception. Maltesers are a malt honeycomb ball surrounded by milk chocolate. I like most females (and males sorry to leave you out) have a severe chocolate addiction. I use the excuse that because it acts as an antidepressent by increasing my serotonin and endorphin levels (Can't you tell im a pschology student!!) to ease my guilt when I can polish off a whole bar/box by myself. They come in a red packet, with the maltesers logo on the front and a picture of the sweet and also thecentre of the sweet. Maltesers come in 37gam bags which contain around 20 individual sweets. At less than 200 calories per pack, they are not the most ... Read the complete review

Maltesers! They certainly tease you into eating another, then another then another....anothher whole bag that is! The packaging is highly appealing in bright red, and I've heard the colour red stimulates the appetite, so may be that's the problem I have! Maltesers are one of my favourites and for a treat I would buy a packet.A packet which is 37g in size is only 190 calories or could be even less so it will not put on the pounds in weight. Maltesers are my second favourite bag of chocolate sweets that I like to eat. A standard 45g pack will cost about 55p and there are larger sharing packs like a 100g version for £1.05 but lets be honest the sharing is just playing ticks with your mind as these are very moorish and a bag never lasts long. As always I freeze them before ... Read the complete review

I always treat my daughter to some sweets on a friday when she comes out of school, and whilst in the shop I decided to do the same for myself as I had been a good girl too ;) , but wanted something a little lighter so I opted for maltesers as they are a healthier choice of chocolate and very light too.
