... one word that sums up this cake, and that is WOW! It's a sponge cake that has been split and filled much like a Victoria Sponge, although this one was so much more exciting. The sponge itself is coffee flavoured (soaked in richly roasted coffee according to the website) and is beautifully soft and moist. Gosh, my mouth is watering just thinking about writing this review as this cake was absolutely wonderful and definitely ranks as one of the nicest store bought cakes I have ever tasted. While I don't drink much coffee, I adore anything coffee flavoured from ice cream to chocolates to cakes and only have to see the word 'mocha' or 'cappuccino' to convince me to buy something.
