The chicken is 58% and the basmati rice 42% of the total. Now, the pack says that the cooked marinated chicken is 30%, but is that of the 58% or the total? Even more confusingly, 86% of the cooked marinated chicken is .. chicken! I assume this means the spices it's marinated in is the rest, and the most notable of these single cream, low fat yoghurt, garlic, ginger, coriander, Punjabi garam masala, turmeric and cardamom.

INTRODUCTION I don't know if you've seen the Tilda microwave rice adverts where the son has brought shame on the family for microwaving his rice? Well in a juxtaposition of this, on a recent visit to my mum she served this microwave dinner up for me. Now my mum is a dab hand in the kitchen, but with her advancing years such meals are very handy to feed hungry children visiting. So if it's good enough for my mum, it's good enough for me so here goes with reviewing it.
