My best friend's father was English but she was born and raised in the US. She always brings an extra suitcase with her when she comes to visit London, as she always leaves with an excess amount of English chocolates and candies - Cadbury's is simply better than its US equivalent, Hershey's, and there are no suitable substitutes for Rowntree Fruit Pastilles, either. The one candy, though, that she buys from the beginning of her trip to the end of her trip, which causes her to madly dash to M&S before her flight to re-stock as she's already eaten her supply, that she insists I bring back to her every time I fly home, are Percy Pigs. I have experienced a similar ... Read the complete review

These are fabulous sweets, but cost quite a bit compared to other similar brands. However, they are worth it as they are very juicy, tasty and quite filling. On the other hand, they do contain quite a lot of sugar and calories, but this can be expected. The packaging is very good, with clear branding making them easy to spot on the shelf in Marks & Spencer. The information is clear to read, and the packaging is easy to open, but sometimes too easy so can rip and send the sweets all over the floor. The sweets are always fresh, and never seem to be squashed or broken. The quality of the product is brilliant, with the same great taste every ... Read the complete review

Percy pigs are fantastic sweets that are in the marks and spencers home brand range. They are a home brand make, however being marks and spencers you do get the good assurance that they are known for, and that is definitely the case when it comes to these sweets. The sweets themselves are really great looking, they are a flat pig shape and have the features of a pig as well. They look like happy pigs and so they are a fun design more than anything and I'm sure kids would love the design, as I do and I'm not quite a kid anymore. They taste really good too. They are a gummy sweet, however its not the hard gum that some sweets are made out of, these ... Read the complete review

Mmmmmmmmmmm Percy Pig soft gum sweets, by none other than Marks and Spencer, are one of my all time favourite sweets. I first discovered these confectionary gems when an M & S opened up in my local service station, and I happened to wander in there for some milk. Fatal error, as I am now an official addict of these deliciously juicy and fruity chewy sweets. ~What are Percy Pig Sweets?~ ---------------------------------------- Percy Pig are a variety of soft, gummy sweets that are made from real fruit juice. Appearance-wise, they are a pale/opaque pink piggy face with deeper, clear pink ears. They look appetising because they arent ... Read the complete review

Marks and Spencers is home to good food, fact. Many people shop, enjoy and pretty much live under the marks and spencers roof, and dont blame them. Offering a wide variety of food, drink, books, toys and homeware goods, the chain of stores have many loyal fans. After writing as if i too wander round the packed streets of the supermarket, i must admit that i do not shop there as the prices are above what i can afford to pay at this present time. However that does not stop me from having a peek at whats on offer in the food world. This is when I first stumbled across the Percy Pig. At first I could not believe that this little pig smiling back at me, would soon become one ... Read the complete review
