It states on ... more  ... the box that this terrine serves 6 - 8 but we cut ours quite thinly and ten people were able to have a nice sized slice. It's very easy to cut up as a sharp knife will literally go through this soft mousse like, well, a hot knife through butter.

In our family we are all big fans of salmon mousse, and this rather surprisingly includes my very fussy son in law and two older granddaughters. So when my daughter saw the wonderful looking Scottish Lochmuir Salmon & Lemon Mascarpone Terrine while spending a £50 voucher on the new M&S Food To Order website she decided to buy it as the centrepiece of the adults' buffet table at my granddaughters recent 12th birthday party. Oh, and I am so glad she did because this is one of the nicest and most upmarket salmon mousses I've ever eaten.
