 ... me, perhaps a quick look in the cream cabinet at Marks & Spencer will answer the question, my bet is it will be full of Channel Islands double cream, call me a cynic if you will. The toffee pecan tart weights in at an acceptable 365 grams, and the one, alright two that I bought had a use by date of around 2 weeks time. The tart must be kept refrigerated and can be frozen for up to one month from the date of purchase. No matter how hard I try, and I’ve tried hard I assure you, I cannot enter a branch of Marks & Spencer without being drawn to the food section and in particular the chilled cabinet that contains stack upon stack of scrumptious deserts. You see, I have an addiction, and it goes by the name of The Marks & Spencer toffee pecan tart. The very sight of this gorgeous concoction of sweetness brings me out in a cold sweat; I have to buy one, indeed I have to have more than one, which is starting to have an adverse effect on my bank balance and my waistline.
