They say you either love Marmite or hate it - and its true.

I love it.

Marmite is a brilliat sandwich filler and great on toast. It is a thick spread made from yeast exctract and has quite a distinguishing flavour. If you were to layer it on thick it can become very strong and almost bitter but I find a thin layer over buttered bread to do the job perfectly!

A small standard pot will last you an unbelievable amount of time ( few weeks!) . And its so cheap. If you've not tried it give it a try! But beware to not dip your finger in the jar and have a try that way - it will be far too strong and your probably won't go near it again!

But butter some bread and smooth over a thin layer - you really will either love it or hate it ...

Summary: Try it
