Advantages: Sticky, savoury taste ideal with toast or in a cheese sandwich

Disadvantages: Can be bit messy.. I recommend buying the squeezy bottle it stays cleaner and sticky free

Marmite.. you either love it or hate it. And that is very true. I used to hate it when I was younger and my mum used to have it, but now I love it and have to have it in my cupboards at all times.
Its made from vegetable extract so suitable for vegetarians many people think its got meat extract in it and get confused with bovril but this is vegetable and better for you. The look of it is not that pleasant, its very sticky and dark brown and can be quite fiddly to get out of the jar without making a mess. Although they have invented a squeezy one now like ketchup which is much more conveninent and the bottle doesnt get sticky and messy.
Marmite is lovely spread on thinly cut toast for breakfast or as a snack. Its also delicious combined with cheese in sandwiches really nice combination. It is good value for money as lasts a very long time, as most people ususally spread it quite thinly as it does ahve a strong taste. Its hard taste to describe but very savoury in flavour and has a taste all of its own really. But its worth trying, I cant guarantee you will love it, you may hate it. But if you do love it you will become addicted.
