Advantages: Divides the nation

Disadvantages: Wish it were more available in squeezy tube format!

I love it! Do you? Or do you hate it?
Stick it on toast or disolve it in hot water and drink the stuff.
It's delicious, its nutritious and its healthy as well.

Its brown, its a yeast extract. Its a by-product of brewing. So how come so many people don't like it?

When it comes in the classic glass pot with its familiar yellow lid & label its damn annoying to get out with a knife to spread. It doesn't always spread easily. It's better when it comes in the squeezy tube which they've only recently though of putting it inside.

You'd think once they saw sauces in squeezy bottles they'd have done that with Marmite especially as its Australian cousin Vegemite has been sold in a squeezy tube for years.

If its the glass jar version then you can at least make sure you use every last speck by pouring some boiling water into whats left in the jar to make yourself a nice hot tasty drink.
Regardless of whether its on brown or white bread, toast or in its hot drink format Marmite always fills a hole very well.
