Disadvantages: The taste is overpowering

Either you love it or hate it. I personally hate the taste. It is incredibly salty and bitter and the smell is overpowering aswell. The first time I tried it, I instantly hated it and will never try it again.

If you happen to be someone that likes eating 'Twiglets' then you may like Marmite they seem to taste like they Marmite on.

People usually have Marmite on toast. If you like experimenting with food, add some to your soup, spread some on rice cakes, have a cheese and Marmite sandwich or next time you have a barbeque, add some marmite to your BBQ sauce (that should be interesting, make sure to warn your guests though).

The Marmite brand has been around for years and is well known in the UK. It is mainly contains yeast extract and should be eating in moderation due to its salt content.

Marmite is a good source of B vitamins and low in fat,
