Disadvantages: Fattening as hell!

There are some things in life, in certain situations you always buy. For me if I'm down in the dumps and feel like crying or I have Pmt I know (and so do my friends who do the same), to buy a Mars Bar! It's not only chocolate but its thick and it's full of energy and calories and give the biggest hit of sugar I can get in one sitting without throwing up lol There are other times I want a bar of chocolate cos I fancy it, in them cases I don't purchase this. For me it's like it's a medicinal purchase along with paracetamol!

The Wrapper....

Black with red Mars written on the front, very distinctive. Over the years this simple packaging hasn't really changed much! Tells me on the side that it's 'Milk chocolate with soft nougat and caramel centre'. On the back tells me the weight of my product (62.5g), that the wrapper is recyclable, the ingredients and nutritional information (I'm always too scared to read that) lol
The chocolate itself is a nice milk chocolate colour, long and has some ripple effects to the top of the bar.

Verdict....

To me this always make me think of the Yorkie bar advertising, 'not for girls' lol I don't know about the old Mars slogan' a mars a day makes you work rest and play' cos to me I always feel so stuffed after one I want to go sleep lol

It's a serious hefty, lump of chocolate. It feels heavy in your hand and to me its serious work to eat it as its large even in the standard size! The chocolate is thick and smooth. It melts in your mouth. As you bite through the bar you go through the chocolate to the caramel and then on to the soft brown, fluffy nougat. Don't be fooled though if you've never eaten one of these it's soft nougat and not the tough one you may be thinking of!

The chocolate all melts into your mouth. The great thing about it is although it melts it doesn't get into a mess holding it!

It's a sugar rush, to me , like no other. It's creamy, fattening and has a good 'sloth' feel about it. It's chunky and not gone in seconds. Its' a serious bar of chocolate, is what it is!
