Advantages: Soft, creamy nougat, smooth caramel and chocolate!

Disadvantages: Getting a bit pricey these days!

The Mars bar is undoubtedly my fabourite chocolate snack in the world ... ever! I most definitely need a Mars a day to help me work, rest and play. No other chocolaty snack can match the joy I feel when biting into a Mars bar, the sensation of the creamy nougat, soft caramel and cool chocolate coming together is second to none!

The Mars bar came to the UK in 1932, produced out of Slough, it has developed into the number 1 selling chocolate bar in the UK. The Mars bar has actually been discontinued in the USA, it's place of origin, which I find quite incredible!

One thing I don't understand, and am quite diturbed about is the deep-fried Mars, that is very popular in the North os England and Scotland! When I first heard about this trend, I couldn't actually believe it!

So for anyone out there, if there is anyone that is, who hasn't yet tried a Mars bar, don't torture yourself any further, go get!

Summary: A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play!

I'm not a fan of Mars, but it's good to read about the part it plays in your life and the history of it.
