Advantages: Filling
Disadvantages: Sickly if you eat too much
Mars Bars are like the Daddy of the chocolate world although given the number of years they have been around they are probably more like the Granddaddy of the chocolate family.
I do find Mars Bars to be very filling and they certainly fill a hole if you have an empty stomach and a long time until your next meal. I especially like them if they have been in the shops chiller compartment or the fridge.
They combine milk chocolate with toffee caramel and nougat fillings and they are a chunky bar that comes in a couple of varieties such as the standard bar and the duo which is two slighty smaller bars which makes up one long one if you eat them at the same tme. You can also get mini mars bars in some selection packs.
The inside filling is a thick layer of tasty nougat with a creamy smooth layer of caramel toffee on top all encased in nice milk chocolate, the top of the bar has a rippled effect in the chocolate. The three combine well into a sweet rich chocolate flavour however I do find it a bit sickly if te bar has not be chilled before hand.
A bar costs between 45p and 55p in most shops.
Summary: Nice bar
