Advantages: Chewy, Tasty, Filling.

Disadvantages: Lots and lots of calories

The Mars Bar is one of those chocolate bars that I don't eat often anymore but have had a lot of in the past. I've tried to lay off eating them because a 58 (used to be 62g) gram bar contains a whooping 259 calories. This is a serious amount of calories considering you are supposed to eat depending on your allowance 2000 a day.

So the bar itself is extremely chewy, it has a harder layer of milk chocolate which is great. Inside you have a couple of layers of nougat and caramel. All mixed together results in a great tasting candy bar.

I would stay away from buying the multi packs if you haven't got a will of steel. Before you know it you could have polished off the entire packet which is about 1000 calories. Not only would you feel guilty like I have on occasion but you'll end up feeling sick. There used to be a Kingsize which has been discontinued and replaced with a 'duo' pack.

Apart from that the Mars Bar is a classic, it was introduced in 1932 and has been going strong ever since. There are limited editions of Mars Bars that Mars Inc releases once in a while. Well worth purchasing if you have a sweet tooth.

I love the Mars Bar and recommend it to all, just don't overdo it. Remember, a moment on the lips but a lifetime on the hips!!
