Advantages: Tastes great

Disadvantages: Not very healthy, big surorise, it tastes great !

Mars bars are chocolate bars first made in the UK in 1932, big surprise that, I thought they were an American institution!

They were manufactured to be a sweeter version of the American Milky way, which is totally different from the UK version of Milky Way [confusing or what?]

The mars bar is approximately 58 grams and contains 259 calories, they also come in fun size [20g], snack-time [36g], and a king-size [84g], and you can also find them in mars celebrations. Recently the food standard agency has forced the Mars Company in a vain attempt to stop us dying to drop the size from 58g to 50g allegedly in a bid to lower obesity levels in the UK, another way big brother or the illuminati is taking over in their quest for a one world government

Note for fitness junkies and fact fans : A normal 58g mars bar would take around 25 minutes to burn off in a cross trainer, walk for an hour or run for 30 minutes [slow run].

The mars bar itself consists of a bar of nougat with caramel covered in milk chocolate and comes in black packaging with the Mars name thereon in bright red lettering.

A disgusting new way of eating Mars bars was developed in Scotland [I'm ashamed to say], the deep fried Mars Bar, a normal Mars Bar covered in batter and deep fried, this is then served with chips. This abomination has spread round the world and is now available in Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.

They are no longer suitable for vegetarians, quite right too, since 2007 when after a public outcry at the change in ingredients, the Mars Company reverted to using animal rennet in its products. Bloody veggies

In conclusion then, the Mars Bar, Just what you need when you want a sugar rush, tasty, unhealthy but nice , Just remember and go the the gym afterwards

Summary: Big slab of sugar
