Cadburys has always been my favorite brand of confectionary, as I am addicted to the delicious taste of dairy milk and dont feel that anything matches up to that creamy statisfaction. Outisde of the Cadbury's brand the mars bar is the chocolate of my choice especially if when looking for an afternoon snack I am particularly hungry or in need of a big energy kick.

Mars comes in mini bars, normal sized bars or multipacks. The bar I am reviewing is the most popular, and most easily found in newsagents and vending machines, the 62g bar. The bar comes wrapped in shiney black wrapping, with the famous red mars logo on the front. The wrapping is easy to tear into and peel off without destroying the chocolate bar or melting it in hot hands. As far as I know the wrapping is not recyclable, which in my opinion is a downside.

Inside the wrapping is a chocolate coated rectanglar bar. Inside the thick bar is 80% nougat and 20% caramel (by my approximate calculations). The nougat is thick and creamy, whilst being deliciously airy. The caramel is thick and sticky and would be very sickly if there was anymore of it!

The three layers go together very well. The tastes compliment each other and are absolutely delicious. Luckily the top layer of chocolate is quite thick which is yummy! Overall this is a great tasting chocolate bar. The calorie content is very high, just under 300, and it fills you up quite easily. As a treat it is definitely worth a try.

Summary: Great boost for those long afternoons!
