Advantages: tasty caramel, fluffy nougat centre, delicous

Disadvantages: 295 calories means they're quite fattening

Hmmm I've been dieting for four months and today it finally ended. I've gotten down to my goal weight of 9 stone so I felt I deserved a treat for this achievement. How did I treat myself? By buying a Mars Bar of course. Mars bars are absolutely delicious. The combination of chocolate and caramel is to die for. Oh god! I think Im starting to sound like a chocoholic.

Mars Bars have been around since the since 1932 and are still as popular as ever for a reason. After 70 plus years of being in distribution the ingredients haven't changed, but the sizes and packaging has. Mars Bars are now sold in a multitude of different sizes, from double bar packs to huge multi-packs containing eight whole Mars Bars.

Over the years there have been spin offs from the Mars Bar, such as Mars Delight, Mars Rocks and the incredibly sickly Mars Muffin. All of these products are available to buy, but none even come close to the smooth texture and creamy milk chocolate of the original Mars Bar.

At 295 calories, why not treat yourself. It's only 13% of an adults reccomended calorie intake. You could always just skip supper.

In conclusion, Mars Bars are a tasty snack, but try not to eat too many.

Summary: Delicous, but dont eat too many.
