You can't beat the best! (Mars Bar)

Advantages: It's a Mars bar!!!!

I always take a chocolate treat to college in my pack up and so we look for special offers when we go shopping for the best buys that week...

This week's was Mars bars at only £1.49 for 7 bars - two were free so these were a bargain!

I was happy as Mars are some of my favourite chocolate snacks and are really filling and yummy :)

The multi pack was plastic wrapped with the seven bars individually wrapped inside the pack all in the famous black wrapper with the Mars written in red.

These are standard bars weighing 58g each so feel quite heavy. The picture on the front of the packaging shows milk chocolate and milk and brown nougat - all the famous ingredients of Mars.

You can tell the company are trying to make their product sounds healthy by saying the milk is to nourish, the nougat is to energise with the glucose and the milk chocolate is to make you feel good...

There are no artificial colours, preservatives of flavours in these treats and there are 259 calories in each one.

Made in the UK it says there is vegetable oil and cocoa butter in each portion too.

The fat content is really high at 101g and the sugars are huge at 34.2g and salt is 0.25 g!

The bars themselves are about four inches long by one inch wide and are really chunky. The milk chocolate is really thick coating the soft nougat on the bottom and the really chewy caramel on the top.

I think these are gorgeous, yum, and really chewy together with all the rich flavours going really well together although it can get a bit sickly after a bit, lol! The chocolate is really creamy and the caramel is a chewy toffee it's nearly that thick!

I enjoy the softness of the nougat as well as its softer in texture :)
