A mars a day helps you work rest and play!!! That was the motto that went along with the mars bar when I was younger. Well I dont know about that I dont feel any different after eating one, and I never really understood what the message was supposed to be behind it either. If any of you know please enlighten me :) I never ... Read the complete review

The Mars Bar is one of those chocolate bars that I don't eat often anymore but have had a lot of in the past. I've tried to lay off eating them because a 58 (used to be 62g) gram bar contains a whooping 259 calories. This is a serious amount of calories considering you are supposed to eat depending on your allowance 2000 a day. So the ... Read the complete review

A Mars Bar is packaged in a black wrapper with the red Mars logo and it has perforations at both edges so that it is easy to open. The Mars bar is 58g in size and is available from most supermarkets & newsagents for around 50p but this may be cheaper if you purchase it within a multi-pack and it also comes in several different including snack ... If I think of a chocolate bar that has not changed over the years a Mars Bar would spring to mind. Everything about them has remained pretty much constant especially the packaging, marketing and market positioning. Over the last few years other spin off Mars Bar products have been launched such as but the traditional Mars Bar has stood firm. ... Read the complete review

One of the most recognisable chocolate bars in England, however perhaps not one of the most eaten. A Mars bar has a sort of marshmallow nougat layer with caramel on top and then this is all encased in milk chocolate. The odd thing I find about Mars bars is that in order to finish one, I actually have to make an effort. They are so ... Read the complete review

Mars Bar - one of the defining chocolate bars of our generation? Maybe....alone with such classics as Kit Kat, Malteasers and Snickers. It was first created by a young American Forrest Mars, son of a candy maker, in a factory in Slough (of all the places!) in 1932 and soon went on to be one of the best selling chocolate bars in the UK and made a ... Mars have been around for as long as I can remember! Everyone loves Mars, but they are known to be one of the most fattening chocolate bars, but very tasty too! Mars come in a black wrapper with the word Mars written across the front in Red and Gold writing. Inside you get a bar of chocolate, which is soft chocolate nougat with a layer ... The famous Mars Bar was first made in Slough of all places where they actually continue to do their manufacturing from today. It has been around since 1932 and has a solid long-standing position in the market. I think if people were asked to name five chocolate bars then this would be on the list for most people I would think. A Mars is a mix of ... Read the complete review

The Mars bar is a chocolate product manufactured by you guessed it, Mars! Although for those of you in the US the chocolate bar with the Mars format is known as a Milky way, very confusing. It consists of a malty soft layer of nougat, topped with a layer of thick caramel and coated with a decent covering of the standard chocolate used by the Mars ... Read the complete review

The mars bar is another one of my fave chocolate bars out there. It consisits of a bottom layer which is a kind of chocolate foam mallow part, its hard to explain but it does taste delicious in itself. Then the top layer is caramel which i really like and that in itself really makes the bar. To top the whole thing off, its completely ... Read the complete review

I can safely say that it would be a wise assumption to believe that most people have tried a mars bar at some point in their lives. Even if you don't like them, you have surely tried them at least once. This may seem like a strange assumption, but, I would suggest that the mars bar is probably the most famous chocolate bar of all. Yes, it does ... Read the complete review

I know this might cause some heated debate, but i'm going to say it anyway and i'm sorry. I truly hate Mars Bars! yes, i know that this is a harsh, somewhat overly aggressive stance, but their incredibly sickly blend of nougat and soft toffee and chocolate make me feel sick, and have done since i can remember. Des anyone else find them ... Read the complete review

I find that I really have to be in the mood for a Mars bar. Give me a Snicker any time or day or hour and won't say no but only give me a Mars bar when I ask for one or you might just get it thrown right back in your face! Well that's a bit extreme.....I'd probably just politely decline or go halves with you! The faithful Mars Bar has ... Read the complete review

I hadn't had a maes chocolate bar for ages but seeing it sitting on the sehlf it seemed to be calling me and so I decided to treat myself. Mars Bar is a chocolate bar containing milk chocolate on the outside coating along with caramel and soft nougat. The amount of the above per bar is I have to say very generous per bar. The caramel layer being around 1/4 to 1/2 of a cm thick and plenty of the sweet nougat rests under. As you bite into a mar bar, you are ... Read the complete review

As a child I remember clearly the advertising for the Mars Bar...allegedly, it helped you to 'work, rest and play', if you had a bar a day! Would they be able to have such claims now with the current obesity issues in the UK...I doubt it! That sai, the Mars bar remains one of the most popular chocolate bars in the uk. It ... The mars bar is undoubtedly an icon of our time, and there are probably very few people who have never tasted the delights of this chocolately treat. Quite frankly, the only bad thing about Mars Bars is that you have to do an hour of high paced cycling in order to burn off the calories, just so that you can at least have one a day!
